The “Energy2020” project-Savona Campus

The “Energy2020” project of the University of Genoa represents an innovative intervention for demonstration purposes in the field of sustainable energy (renewables, energy efficiency and CO2 emissions reduction).

Installation of a smart polygeneration microgrid for the satisfaction of thermal and electrical demands inside Savona Campus Installation of a sustainable energy building linked to the SPM Energy efficiency measures for the buildings in the Savona Campus


A Living-Lab representing sustainable cities will be designed and installed at the Savona Campus, as a national pilot site for the technologies to be used in smart cities.
