The inclusion of Sustainability issues in the internal training of teaching and non-teaching staff is one of the goals pursued by Sustainable UniGe.
Environmental and social aspects of sustainability are included both in the basic courses for new hires and in the continuing educational offer made available to the UniGe staff.
Within the online platform dedicated to internal staff training, a specific section, Sustainability Area, addresses the environmental and social aspects of sustainability. It includes the following courses:
- the short course (3h) "The 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals" developed by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS) and available in Italian and English
- the "Sustainability Course" (14h) in which the topic is addressed by various faculty members of the University from different points of view
- the mini-course "Energy Transition, Rational Use of Energy and Best Practices" by the University Energy Conservation Working Group and the UniGe Energy Manager.
- The course “Inclusive Language at the University”, organized by the Working Group “Gender-Inclusive Language and the Prevention of Discrimination and Violence”, coordinated by the Rector’s Delegate for Equal Opportunities and Inclusion.
