The inclusion of Sustainability issues in the internal training of teaching and non-teaching staff is one of the goals pursued by Sustainable UniGe. In recent years, the offering has expanded, and environmental and social aspects of sustainability are now included both in the basic courses for new hires and in the continuing education offerings made available to UniGe staff.
A special Environmental Sustainability Area section has been created in the online platform dedicated to internal staff training(link), which includes among others:
- the short course (3h) "The 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals" developed by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS) and available in Italian and English
- the "Sustainability Course" (14h) in which the topic is addressed by various faculty members of the University from different points of view
- the mini-course "Energy Transition, Rational Use of Energy and Best Practices" by the University Energy Conservation Working Group and the UniGe Energy Manager.
