Sustainability in mandatory courses

The academic community, including students and staff, is required to follow mandatory courses, as required by current regulations or by the decision of the University Governance.

Environmental and social sustainability topics are included in some of these mandatory courses, particularly:

Course for New Hires
This course is mandatory for new hired staff and is designed to support their integration by providing an overview of the activities carried out by the University, identifying organizational tools, roles within the organization, and the responsibilities that follow. It aims to ensure the understanding and sharing of the University’s values and organizational culture, and guarantees that all behaviors respect the ethical and cultural values of the institution. The ij presence 20 hours course is divided into 5 modules, each consisting of 2 sessions of 2 hours. 
One entire module (Module 5) of 4 hours is dedicated to social sustainability aspects:
Module 5. Workplace Safety, Organizational Well-being, Inclusion (4h)
A. Workplace safety, organizational well-being, and inclusion
B. Gender language and gender-based violence

Mandatory Course on Weather-Hydrological Risk Alerts
This course is mandatory for all staff and students, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes.
For students, it is delivered online as a standalone module.
For staff the course is included as a module (Module 4) within the mandatory training course on occupational health and safety:
