Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

UniGe promotes inclusion, equal opportunities and the well-being of its academic community, with the implementation of actions aimed at counteracting all forms of discrimination involving those who study and work at the University, offering services in direct support of the individual and promoting work-life balance. Specific information on the services offered is available in the sections of the University website dedicated to inclusion, welfare, university benefits for study, services for people with Disabilities and DSA (student community and staff) and on the websites of the Equal Opportunities Committee, the Single Committee of Guarantee (Comitato Unico di garanzia CUG).

The commitment to promoting policies that foster the development of an inclusive social context, where there is attention to inequality and protection of people's well-being, is also highlighted by the participation in the Inclusion and Social Justice Working Group of the RUS (Rete delle Università per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile)- Network of Universities for Sustainable Development, in which there are several UniGe referents.
