To implement its sustainability policies and its commitment to integrating sustainability principles across all activities, UniGe has structured itself with dedicated roles:

• Pro-Rector for Sustainability - Adriana Del Borghi
  Appointed by the Rector in 2020
   
• University Sustainability Committee
  Established by Rectoral Decree in 2024 
  which includes representatives from all levels of the academic community
   
• Sustainability Office
  Established by organizational act in 2023

Both the Sustainability Committee and the Sustainability Office collaborate actively with other key figures and working groups focused on sustainability, including:

• the Energy Saving Working Group and the Energy Manager, Giada Agnese
• the Mobility Manager, Ilaria Delponte
• the Delegate for Equal Opportunities and Inclusion, Angela Taramasso
• the UniGe representatives in the RUS (Network of Universities for Sustainability) who participate in thematic working groups within the network.
