An Esaote scholarship to support female talent in STEM subjects

Applications are now open for a scholarship worth 5,000 euros, funded by Esaote SpA, intended for a female graduate in STEM subjects who intends to enrol, in the 2026/2027 academic year, for a master’s degree programme at the University of Genoa in the following fields: Bioengineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Internet & Multimedia Engineering, and Engineering Technology for Strategy & Security.

The scholarship supports a research project lasting approximately six months dedicated to the design of systems and software applications for diagnostic imaging using ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging, to be carried out at Esaote in a hybrid format. The initiative has been launched with the dual aim of promoting female talent in technical and scientific fields and strengthening the link between universities and industry.

Eligible applicants include female graduates or final-year students who will complete their degree by 15 October 2026, with a minimum mark of 100/110.

Applications must be submitted by 15 September 2026.

The full call for applications is available in the UniGe Scholarships and Awards section.
