BIOLIG26 – Liguria’s Bioeconomy Day

On May 28th, 2026, on the occasion of the eighth edition of the National Bioeconomy Day, Genoa will host BioLig26, the Ligurian stop of the Bioeconomy Day 2026.

This nationwide initiative aims to raise awareness among citizens, businesses, and institutions by showcasing concrete experiences and promoting production models oriented toward sustainability.

The Ligurian event will take place from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM in the Aula San Salvatore, Piazza Sarzano, Genoa, and will also be available online (the participation link will be sent to registered participants shortly before the event).

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required via the following link: forms.cloud.microsoft

During the event, the winners of a new high-school competition will also be awarded. Participants were asked to create a short multimedia project explaining in a simple and effective way what the bioeconomy is and why it matters for our present and future.
