From April 17 to 22, 2026, Genoa will host the second edition of the Circular City Forum, an event dedicated to the circular economy and urban sustainability, promoted by the Genoa City Council and organized by Clickutility Team, with the University of Genoa as institutional partner.
The rich program includes a mix of conference sessions, networking opportunities, thematic workshops, conferences aimed at citizens and industry professionals, and contests.
Opening the conference, along with institutional greetings from Silvia Salis, Mayor of Genoa, Barbara Banchero, Genoa Chamber of Commerce, and Francesco Caso, Liguria Region, Renata Paola Dameri will speak on behalf of the University of Genoa.
The University of Genoa will be present on several days, with presentations by the Vice Rector for Sustainability, Adriana Del Borghi, and other members of the University’s Sustainability Commission, including Raffaella Boggia and Mariachiara Chiantore.
During the afternoon dedicated to UniGe (FOCUS UniGe), speakers will also include Gabriele Caviglioli, Rector’s Delegate for Technology Transfer, Patents, and Spin-offs, and Patrizia Cepollina, Director of the Research, Technology Transfer, and Third Mission Division. In addition, a booth will be available to learn more about UniGe’s activities in technology transfer and sustainability.
