On May 21st 2026, as part of the 9th Multidisciplinary Symposium on Circular Economy and Urban Mining, the workshop “The Role of Students in University Policies for Waste Prevention and the Promotion of Separate Waste Collection” will take place. The event is sponsored by the RUS and organized by the Resources and Waste Work Group and the Student Community Technical Committee and is included in the ASviS Festival programme.
The workshop will explore the role of students in promoting waste prevention and management within universities, with a particular focus on separate waste collection. Special attention will be given to the implementation of the RUS–CONAI Guidelines, whose development also involved the University of Genoa.
