From Friday, May 22nd to Sunday, May 24th, the Botanical Garden will host the pilot edition of the Biodiversity Festival “Verde Ovunque” (Green Everywhere).
Three days dedicated to environmental and natural science topics, in the field, featuring workshops, guided tours, talks, exchanges, and activities designed to explore nature and biodiversity.
Friday, May 22nd Programme
- 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM – Free visits to the Botanical Garden
- 2:00 PM – Orchids: guided tour. A visit among the orchids of the San Nicola Greenhouses collection hosted at the Botanical Garden.
- 2:30 PM – Photographic Safari. A sensory experience dedicated to nature photography. Participants will learn to look beyond the flower, capturing geometry, colours, and transparencies. Whether using a professional camera or a smartphone, you will discover how to compose shots and highlight the beauty of the Botanical Garden’s spring blossoms.
- 5:00 PM – Green: a Common Matter (Via Balbi 5, Aula Cabella). A discussion with environmental associations to strengthen a territorial network. Can we develop a shared vision of urban green spaces? The goals are twofold: to work together on drafting a common programme and to imagine the next edition of the festival. Free entry until seats are available.
All events are open to the public but have limited capacity and require free registration.
