28th SUQ – Sound Atlas of Plants

As part of the 28th Suq Festival – Theatre of Dialogue, held from June 13 to 24, 2026, at the Porto Antico of Genoa, UniGe Sostenibile will participate in Eco Suq and Suq Young, the section of the festival dedicated to environmental and sustainability issues, in collaboration with Cittadini Sostenibili.

The second event will be held on Thursday, June 18 at 4:00 PM, with a SuqYoung workshop entitled: SOUND ATLAS OF PLANTS

An interactive experience designed to explore, discover, and play through natural elements and unexpected interactions.

Children will be guided on a sensory journey into the world of plants, where contact with nature meets sound and play, and where plants become active companions in listening, discovery, and wonder. The workshop invites participants to observe everyday natural elements from unexpected perspectives, transforming them into tools for connection, surprise, and participation.

Curated by Isabel Leggiero, PhD researcher in the National PhD Program in "Design for Made in Italy": Identity, Innovation, Sustainability, specializing in inclusive design.

Led by Matilde Trivelin, facilitator, and Gabriel Gutierrez, producer and sound designer.

In collaboration with Elena Mora, curator of the Botanical Garden of the University of Genoa.
