A journey around the world without ever leaving the Savona Campus. This was the spirit of Around the World with En2, an initiative promoted by the international Master's Degree in Energy Engineering at the University of Genoa (also known as En2, after the double “En”). On May 29th, 2026, the event transformed university classrooms into spaces for cultural exchange and human connection.

The event was created with a simple yet meaningful goal: to give international students the opportunity to present their home countries, highlighting their traditions, landscapes, culture, and identity. It was an opportunity to get to know one another better and to celebrate diversity as a valuable resource.

Through stories, flavors, and traditions, Around the World with En2 showcased an open and inclusive academic community, one that is able to turn diversity into a strength. Given the enthusiasm it generated, this first edition is set to become a regular event in the years to come.
