University of Genoa Chancellor Federico Delfino joined the UI GreenMetric International Workshop (IWGM 2025), scheduled for June 17-20, 2025 at the Université Côte d'Azur, presenting UniGe's climate policies to achieve climate neutrality in 2030.

The University of Genoa has been collaborating with the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking for years, and the annual event was an opportunity to talk about UniGe's commitment, which has been achieved in recent years through the adoption of the Climate Strategy and the Home-University Moving Plan, as well as participation in international and national networks and coordination of the RUS working group on Climate Change. The Chancellor's presentation also emphasized the important social impact that university actions related to promoting awareness of sustainability and climate change issues can bring, especially in terms of engaging the student community.
