At the request of Prof. Serena Cattari, from 22 to 26 September 2025, there will be the 2025 edition of the International "PhD Autumn School in Security, Risk and Vulnerability: Insights from the RETURN project", held in Sestri Levante, in the old Convent of the Annunziata, funded by the extended partnership RETURN- multi-Risk sciEnce for resilienT commUnities undeR a changiNg climate.

This is open for PhD students and young researchers working in the field of seismic and flood risk in urban systems, who are interested in widening their perspective and knowledge from a multi-risk perspective.  

There will also be a “3-minute flash talk” competition in which participants will be invited to communicate their research in the most effective and communicative way possible.

The deadline for registration is July 15, 2025. The number of participants is limited to 35.
