The Italian Institute of Bioethics presents the ninth edition of the Bioethics Festival. With the contribution of the Genoa Chamber of Commerce and the patronage of the University of Genoa, the CNB (National Bioethics Committee), the IIT (Italian Institute of Technology) and the International Chair of Bioethics, this year's event focuses on the theme of “Fraternity: man, environment, animals”.
The Festival hosts a wide audience of bioethicists, members of the CNB, university professors from various disciplines and researchers from the IIT for two days of meetings, dialogues and in-depth discussions exploring fraternity from multiple perspectives: ethical, social, political, anthropological, philosophical and religious.
The 2025 Bioethics Festival Award will be presented to Mauro Ceruti, professor emeritus of logic and philosophy of science and director of the IULM Research Centre on Complex Systems.
The detailed programme of the event, with further information, is available on the website of the Italian Institute of Bioethics.
