The University of Genoa has launched a series of promotions to encourage the use of local and regional public transport, with incentives for staff to purchase AMT season tickets.  

The same applies to rail transport, for which UniGe offers incentives to staff.  
 

In addition to public transport, UniGe has also entered into an agreement with Electric Car Sharing, offering discounts for the student community and staff, and has installed 37 bicycle racks at various university locations to encourage the use of sustainable means of transport.
