On Thursday, February 26, at 5:00 p.m., in Room 3 – Valletta Puggia – Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry, a conference will be held addressing the sustainability of magnetic materials, focusing on rare earths, which are unevenly distributed and difficult to isolate, but indispensable for wind turbines, electric motors, and digital devices.

Strategies such as magnet recycling and the design of materials with a lower environmental impact will be illustrated.
