From April 13 to 17, 2026, the Genoa Blue District will host the first edition of Genoa Earth Days. A week dedicated to our relationship with the “Blue Planet,” featuring a series of workshops, screenings, discussions, and special events that bridge the worlds of research and cinema, to explore together new perspectives on the future of our planet.

That same week will also feature the Genoa Pianeta Mare Film Lab: an artist residency where filmmakers under 30, selected through an open call, will create short films about the sea using smartphones, with zero budget and zero environmental impact.

Both initiatives are organized by the Pianeta Mare Film Festival in collaboration with Blue District, the University of Genoa, Iren, Tetis, Posidonia Green Festival, Outdoor Portofino, and Blackwave Surf School.
