The University of Genoa has embarked on a path toward sustainability, and separate waste collection represents a key issue for an institution that is increasingly attentive to environmental aspects and to the well-being of students and university staff.

On this basis, the collaboration with AMIU was created, involving support and awareness-raising activities on the topics of separate waste collection and material recovery. This is an effective way to reduce the quantity of materials sent to landfill, with savings in energy and the recovery of raw materials, within a circular economy perspective.

However, achieving these results requires the important and necessary cooperation of all students and university staff who attend the University of Genoa.
