UniGe at the Festival Blue 2026

UniGe is collaborating in the second edition of the Blue Festival, which will take place in Genoa from June 3rd to June 11th, 2026.

Inspired by the spirit of World Oceans Day, the Genova Blue District ecosystem, of which the University of Genoa is a partner, has organized a festival dedicated to climate, sea, and biodiversity. It is a multifaceted festival that brings together different perspectives, voices, and approaches to discuss current challenges as well as the solutions adopted to address them.

The centerpiece of the 2026 edition will be the interactive exhibitionEarth Alert: Us and the Climate”, created by Karmachina through a joint effort involving the Genova Blue District, ARPAL, Fondazione CIMA, and the University of Genoa. The exhibition will open on June 3rd and will be accessible on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. During the Blue Festival, it will also be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The Blue Festival program also includes workshops, documentaries, hands-on laboratories, gaming activities, meetings with innovative start-ups, conferences, talks, and opportunities for networking and civic engagement.
