ALPGRIDS Microgrid Summer School

From June 6th to June 10th 2022, the University of Genoa will host the first “ALPGRIDS Microgrid Summer School” at the Savona Campus.

Following the objectives of the European Project ALPGRIDS (Increasing RES uptake through Microgrids in the Alps), the course satisfies the need to strengthen the skills in the design and operational management of polygeneration microgrids and energy communities, characterized by the integration of different energy technologies for distributed generation.

The need to train a figure of Expert in Microgrid & Energy Community Design and Management originates from the importance that the implementation of the concept of sustainable energy, through the development of polygenerative microgrids and energy communities, is assuming both at European and national level.

The summer school program includes 35 hours of lectures including technical and economic aspects together with the descriptions of case studies and best practices developed during the ALPGRIDS project.
