UniGe approves the climate neutrality strategy

The UniGe 2021-2026 Strategic Plan has made explicit its adherence to the Agenda 2030 identifying sustainability as one of the five strategic lines that guide the development of UniGe institutional missions, together with digitization and innovation, inclusion, internationalization and quality.

On January 27, 2022 UniGe made a strong and explicit commitment against climate change defining its own specific climate strategy that aims at Climate Neutrality within 2030.

Moreover, the University of Genoa, as an institution adhering to the UN global campaign Race To Zero for Universities and colleges, will have to develop an action plan to achieve Climate Neutrality within three years from the implementation start date and include deadlines and milestones to achieve the objectives as soon as possible.
