On July 12, in the picturesque setting of the former Convent of the Annunziata in Sestri Levante, the event “SoS climate - the Return” was held.
A free day open to the public, dedicated to the knowledge, analysis and management of coastal and marine risk, in a context of increasingly evident climate change.
Among meetings, insights and moments of direct confrontation, participants were able to explore crucial issues such as erosion, flooding, subsidence and other phenomena that threaten the Italian coasts, with the aim of understanding how to detect, assess and address coastal and marine risk, and thus mitigate it, for a more resilient and aware future.
