This year the seventh edition of the national event Climbing for Climate will be held, with the aim of raising local, national, and international awareness about the effects of climate change, in light of the objectives
of the ONU's 2030 Agenda and with a particular focus on the impact on glaciers.
WHEN: September 5, 6, and 7, 2025
WHERE: Monte Rosa, meeting point in Alagna Valsesia in the province of Vercelli.
CFC7 is promoted by RUS and organized by the Universities of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, in
collaboration with the Italian Alpine Club (CAI), the Conference of Italian University Rectors
(CRUI), the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security
Energy Security (MASE), the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development
(ASviS), the Italian Glaciological Committee (CGI), UNITA
(Universitas Montium), and Acqua Novara VCO.
Rectors and delegates from universities belonging to the RUS, members of the Coordination Committee,
coordinators of the working groups, technical teams, and regional sub-networks
of the RUS.
