Book Pride returns to Genoa, from October 3 to 5 at Palazzo Ducale.
This year's theme is “Dancing on the Edge of the World,” inspired by a quote from writer Ursula K. Le Guin. The exhibition hosts numerous Italian and international authors and, for the first time, the Genoa event also includes a “Book Comics” section, dedicated to independent comic book publishing.

Friday, October 3:
- Growing imaginations: children's agency in family and educational contexts – from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Spazio Aperto room, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa.

Saturday, October 4
- Four-legged companions: adopting responsibly – from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Liguria room, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa
The author of the book "d'ora in poi, insieme", Luisa Bellissimo, talk with Franco Manti, UniGe professor of Moral Philosophy, Luisella Battaglia, Scientific Director of the Italian Institute of Bioethics, and Andrea Lo Verde, Vice President of the Squadra 4 Zampe Foundation.
- Universities and institutions against inequality and gender-based violence: reflections, approaches, and tools – from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Minor Consiglio Room, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa
Introduces Fabrizio Benente, Vice-Rector for the Third Mission: Dissemination, Communication, Public Engagement, and Social Impact. The meeting will be moderated by journalist Silvia D'Onghia (Il Fatto quotidiano). Speeches by Ilaria Cavo and Valentina Ghio, Ligurian members of the Chamber of Deputies, and by Luisa Stagi, UniGe professor of Sociology.
