The University of Genoa has published its sixth Gender Report, a document that further consolidates its commitment to gender equality and the promotion of diversity within the academic community.
In recent years, the Gender Report has been accompanied by the Gender Equality Plan and other measures aimed at promoting equity and inclusion at the university.
WHAT DOES IT CONTAIN?
The sixth Gender Report collects data broken down by gender on various areas of university activity:
- Student body: enrollments, dropouts, degrees, differences between women and men in disciplinary choices;
- Teaching, research, and technical-administrative staff: roles, career advancement, gender composition
- Governance: female and male presence in collegial and decision-making bodies
- Policies and actions: work-life balance initiatives, training, awareness-raising, projects dedicated to gender equality
- Analysis of critical issues and proposals: areas where gaps persist and guidelines for improvement.
The Gender Report is a fundamental tool for analyzing and communicating in a transparent manner the impact of the University's policies, resources, and activities from a gender perspective.
