On Monday, September 15, the initiative “Civil Protection Month” promoted by the Civil Protection Department, in collaboration with the Museums and Historic Buildings of Genoa, will launch on Facebook and be open to the public. A final award ceremony with free cultural tickets is planned.
The project aims to raise awareness among the local community about the importance of preparedness, prevention, and knowledge of the alert system and self-protection rules through four weekly training cycles with a final quiz, lasting a total of one month, concluding on October 17 during the day organized by the Prefecture of Genoa as part of “National Civil Protection Week.”
At the end of the month, a number of winners will be selected from among those who have achieved the highest scores, who will receive prizes and gadgets designed in collaboration with other municipal departments.
The topics covered will be:
- The National Civil Protection Service
- The alert system: how to recognize an emergency
- The role of civil protection volunteers
- Flood risk and resilience.
To participate, you must access the official Facebook page of the municipal Civil Protection Agency.
